3rd May 2019
Windsurfing: Alton Ressy
Wind Direction: SW
Wind Stength: F2
Surf / Sea State: flat
Air Temperature: warm
Sea Temperature: warm
Weather: Sunny
Max Speed: 10.4 (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 4.8 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

Wanted a second foil session soon after the first one last week so went to Alton despite the worst wind direction - offshore SW.
To make matters worst there was enough wind on the coast for fin!
Set up the Ultrasonic 147 with 8.5 Goya Mark which is a nice powerful sail. The wind kept light, so was hoping the RRD foil could just manage it.
Unfortunately all the gusts that came whilst I was rigging went, so launched in 5 - 7kts. The grass in the water hindered launching but am getting used to carrying the monstrosity called a foil. Pump all round the reservoir for an hour but alas didn't t a lift as there were no gusts.
Shame as great weather.
